Riverside Community Hospital: "If you are over 50 and end up at RCH that might cost you your life! My elderly mother went in with 4 known conditions, glaucoma, dementia, arthritis, and a possible stroke. The only meds she had was eye drops. They were getting ready to send her back home the next day. Then call me back and asked if she had a do not resuscitate order? I said yes. Called me back again asking me the same question. Then the next call I get a lil' while later they are telling me a bunch of things are wrong she has infections they don't even know about yet. I'm like what did you just say? Because I could not see what was going on they admitted her into ICU. Vented her then it was game over after that. The staff there murdered my mother and tried to keep me from seeing what they were doing to her. I finally figured a way around their so called mandate by refusing to consent to any more treatments over the phone. The doc's were really trying to put the screws to me. I said I refuse unless I see and TOUCH her. I finally was given the okay. When I went in it was like OMG!! What have they done to her? Bed Sores all over they would not tell me about. I was her POA over everything. They lied to me, prevented me from seeing her, tortured & abused her, mentally and emotionally abused me INTENTIONALLY. They would NOT tell me anything for me to make her decisions then turned around and called APS trying to say I was incompetent to make decisions for her. They didn't know I had the jump on them and had reported them to APS a couple weeks before. The ICU manager after okaying my seeing my mom 1 time told the nurse to tell me THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU SEE YOUR MOTHER! Then 10 days later I was able to get in again and the same message was given to me as I came in to see my mom. After my first visit I was so upset at what they were doing or NOT doing. I immediately started contacting attorney's. Attorney's won't tell you that they won't take the case while the patient/victim is still alive because if they start a case and the victim dies then they wasted their time. So it's better to wait till their dead. I request her medical records from the docs they told me I had to send for them I did I was legally allowed to have ALL the info in the file. But 2 hours before the file was sent to me the CCU manager goes and deleted all the ICU info I needed to get her out of there. The CCU manager and the social worker were calling me up threatening to do a patient dump repeatedly. Not having the medical info I needed I couldnt get her out and 3 days later she died in that hell hole alone, scared thinking I abandoned her. The hosp calls me to tell me to hurry down she was dying. Not true... while they were on the phone with me she had been pronounced dead. I go down there thinking she was still alive the ventilator pumping. And hour later one nurse tells me You know she's dead don't you? NO! Yeah she died before you got here. You can stay if you want for a couple hours. Oh NOW I'm allowed in to see her when she's dead but NOT while she was alive and needed me. What kind of crap is that? Sick twisted staff there!! My mom died with more than 2o things wrong and most contributed to her death. This isn't health care... this is hospital profit. They charged the insurance co. $2,300 short of $2,000,000.00 to kill her. " - L

Riverside Community Hospital: "MISDIAGNOSIS will end up costing weeks to recover. Dr. Roberta Dunn saw me for 5 minutes and proceeded to ruin the next month of my life, along with Dr. Phillip Glivar, a spine specialist, who read the CAT scan, making such cavalier decisions about a knee. Here are some bread crumbs doctors, Quack, Quack!!!
It wasn't so much I was treated poorly in the ER, ignored yes. I have had one person tell me that 15 hours isn't an unusual amount of time, but for my injuries...?
What really is WRONG was the misdiagnosis. I had an extremely bruised knee and elbow which probably just needed a few days rest. These morons decided I had a fractured elbow and a bone chip around my knee and therefore needed to not put any pressure (weight) on either limp for a week. Since it was my left leg and right arm I couldn't function on my own and they sent me to the skilled nursing facility or better known as the deepest depth of Hell! Now I have seen a real orthopedic doctor we find out there is no bone chip and, well, if there is a fracture on the elbow it is so minuscule as not to warrant the total prevention of movement. Now, I'm stiff and sore with difficulty moving, it will take time to get back to normal and why? I'M SUFFERING (CAN'T WORK) AND NONE OF THEIR TREATMENT WAS CORRECT. IF I HAD IGNORE THEIR ADVICE AND JUST GONE HOME, I WOULD BE DANCING RIGHT NOW!!!!"
