Putnam Community Medical Center: "Got into a fatal car accident. Checked in Palatka ER at 11:53am and took in the back 2hrs later. Laceration all over, head hit steering wheel blacking out, something in eye. Did not see a doctor and nurses forgot about me in the room that held 6 devided by curtains (other people checked in and out the whole time). Nurses stated doctor’s rotated out 3 times while I was waiting. They did a CT scan and one nurse scrubbed lacerations leaving most of the glass still in the wounds. Spoke with detectives, gave blood, statements etc and it was done and over with. Around 8pm my wife asked the nurses if I could have something to drink and they openly admitted to forgetting about me. Asked them about the scans and one nurse just said everything was negative. No issues?!?!? Went to doctors in Gainesville and the scans they took shown ruptured disc, 2 others herniated, torn ligaments and pinched nerves. I am now in $20k debt that I can’t pay thanks to Palatka Florida ER. " - Josh
