Providence Holy Cross Medical Center: "While their E.R. is great, Holy Cross came very close to killing my wife!!! They do not have a liver specialist on staff and half of her medical team didn't even know there are liver specialists (hepatologists). Two separate "doctors" entered my wife's ICU room and stated openly "she's going to die" and "she has maybe a few hours or a few days". I fired them both and got my wife transferred to Cedars-Sinai where they immediately discovered the portal vein to her liver was blocked. My wife laid in the Holy Cross ICU for 19 days and their medical team just pumped her full of chemicals. In less than 24 hours, my wife is now recovering. STAY AWAY FROM PROVIDENCE HOLY CROSS! Their administration and physicians won't even return your calls." - Bill
