Christus St Frances Cabrini Hospital: "I went in today at 330 with chest pains. Sat in the waiting room the whole time. At 740 I went and asked how long it would be. Talked to a dr and he said in 5min I would have my discharge papers, 30min later the nurse still hadn't gotten them and was calling another patient. I left without my scripts or paperwork. That place is ridiculous! I was there with chest pains and had to sit out in the waiting room with everybody coughing and stuff! I will not be back!!!!" - Kimberly

Thibodaux Regional Medical Center: "12-6-16 2:00pm\r\nMy mother arrived at Thibodaux Regional ER by ambulance.\r\nSymptoms HIGH, uncontrollable blood sugar, confusion, and weakness.\r\nAmbulance drivers put her in a room, nurse or assistant hooked up leads and everyone abandoned her for 50 minutes. Person came in with computer to ask billing questions.\r\nDoctor walked in at about 65 minutes.\r\nI am shocked and appalled that a medical staff member did not test her sugar or do any triage work upon arrival and left her for an hour.\r\nI called the ER manager and she said "the hospital is having growing pains and they have a new group of doctors and NEW PROCESSES.\r\nThibodaux Regional has been an award winning hospital in the past - I cannot understand why they would CHANGE PROCESSES AND GO BACKWARDS.\r\nThey are NOT an award winning Team now.\r\nI am extremely disappointed in their work.\r\nI will say that the doctor and staff are very nice.\r\nThey need to understand that NICE does NOT SAVE LIVES." - Pennne

St Tammany Parish Hospital: "I called the ER & spoke to a nurse, I asked a pretty basic question & her response was irritated & lazy. Went something like, 'it depends, I can't really tell you, I mean you'll just have to use your own judgment, I really don't know'\r\nMy question was- did I need to bring a friend I thought possibly had a mini stroke approximately 12 hours ago to the ER or to her primary care. Basically, is it an emergency situation or not? She didn't really know, I'll just have to use my own judgement! To me that sounds like a ridiculous response- is it life threatening & needs immediate medical attention? She asked 'how is she acting now'? I replied ' I don't know, I'm not with her now, it's only in retrospect that I'm realizing this could be the problem' does is it really matter how she's acting now? If she was acting as if she had a mini stroke 12 hours ago- shouldn't the next step be immediate medical attention? I don't know why I even bothered to call & ask, I already know the answer. Obviously if she's possibly had a stroke she needs to seek medical attention as soon as possible, but it won't be at this ER. So rude, and no people skills at all. Ridiculous " - Jenny
