Northridge Hospital Medical Center Stories

Northridge Hospital Medical Center: "Northridge Hospital is my second home. I have had mostly good experiences except the nurses never get my medications correct even when handed a list from my Primary at UCLA. I talk to them, explain, spell, explain tid and qid, answer all their questions and they still get it wrong. The wait for admission can be long, but it's understandable as the ER nurses work so hard and the night nurses need their sleep. I do think the floor nurses need better staffing and more of it." - Pierce

THEY DID NOT OFFER GLOWN OR SHOTS. I WAS BAREFOOTED AND MY SHORTS. THE AMBULANCE DRIVER SAID NOT TO WORRY THEY WOULD CHANGING INTO A CLEAN GLOWN AND SHOES.
THE FIRST DR SAID I NEEDED A MRA TO CHECK THE INJURY. I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE MRA MACHINE, UNTIL THEY HAD A SPOT FOR ME, AFTER THE EMERGENCIES WERE DONE. ABOUT 20 MINUTES. WHEN THEY CAME TO GET A NEW DR SAID I DIDN'T NEED THE MRA. NOW THE NEW DR WANTED TO DO STITCHES..8 OF THEM.I.
