North Fulton Regional Hospital Stories

North Fulton Regional Hospital: "Six hours waiting in the ER and still here. Came in with my father for a cardiac concern. Triaged in ~30 minutes, then just sitting in the waiting room. Apparently no beds available and were repeatedly told that they “were busy”. We’re supposed to be waiting on one test that takes about 30 minutes to get a result…going on three hours now." - Robert

North Fulton Regional Hospital: "These wait times that are posted are a joke. Just like anywhere else especially here in Alpharetta it’s not who you are but who you know. I sat in the ER with a woman getting fluids in an IV in the waiting area. Yet some old man comes walking in, with a little boo boo on his finger that needed a few stitches….came in dropped a few names and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. That ticked me off! Just like every other hospital the nurses do more talking than working. This country and its racism too. I had my mask down for 3 minutes and some old racist black man comes and makes a scene. I said I apologize I just forgot and he went on and on. Then when the young black nurse told me “put your mask up SON” I almost lost it. I am twice her age but racism again.
During this review Ihave been sitting in a wheelchair after 4 hip surgeries and the hip is not right YET I HAVE SAID NOTHING. WHY BECAUSE I WOULD RATHER BE PART OF THE SOLUTION NOT THE PROBLEM!
To the old man about the mask I am sorry your wife is obese and you walked past me 10 TIMES. going oh my God Oh My Back.
“Empty barrels when they fall make the most noise” a
To the young nurse who called me a BOY please take a class in manners and etiquette. 4.5 hours waiting with a possible broken or dislocated hip.
Never ever again "
