Newark-Wayne Community Hospital: "Spent 5 hours in ED with severe pain in lower front and back abdomen area, blood test and ultrasound, no CT given only to be sent home. 8 hours later I’m back in ED in severe pain only to be made to wait 2 1/2 hrs to be brought back and not in a room but a chair yet to wait longer. Not impressed with the care and or lack of care , I am from Bethesda MD staying with boyfriends parents . Will be reaching out to Dr Riccio and Dr Zulick tomorrow to notify them." - Lillian

Newark-Wayne Community Hospital: "Mrs. Jessica Zabkar Sullivan, PA has been reported for breaking my son's Hipaa and his basic rights as a patient. She also broke policy and procedure. She was Immediately reported via telephone to the , " Speak Up Hotline. " Through RGH. She is a Physician's Assistant at the Newark Wayne Community Hospital Emergency Department.
She did not treat my son, (whom was entrusted in HER Care) ethically or responsibly. She was blantantly and unapologetically stereotyping my son. I've also filed a Civil Claim.
I hope that NYS will examine her further. No one deserves the, " Care " That this provider gives. Apparently, advocating for my adult son is not acceptable to this Physician's Assistant."

Newark-Wayne Community Hospital: "all I wanted was my cast fix not off, I did not walk on it or anything. the only time I got wet was twice, I had surgery done. I got into my car and notice my cast was falling apart so did my mom. The Doctor over there at Newark not Dr.Brown or Dr.Stasko but Dr.Alexander was rude to me I felt like. I had a really bad experience what was so hard for the doctor to look at just assure me that it was not falling apart, I have anxiety and I cannot help it. I had surgery, before that I had two cast. Am not going to blow dry a cast that get wet either because wearing a wet cast can cause an affection, no my cast was not wet its the edge of the sock that came unattach for the cast, and now the cotton is falling out. I want Dr. Alexander not to talk to me other anything. I like the other doctors though. All I ask if Dr, Alexander does not speak me to me what so ever. He was rude, I have an anxiety until he can understand that I have serve anxiety I do not want him talking to me. He did not even look at my cast. I have depression to the way he approach me trigger my depression. The Newark place is very uncomfortable, If I feel that there is something wrong with my cast I should feel that it should be looked at no matter what. I have a bad right knee it still bother me sometimes it is hard not to walk on it but I do not walk on it. The only time that pressure gets put on it is when I have to climb 4 steps to get in to my house that is it. So I rather just deal with Dr.Brown and both Dr.Stasko. If I have to have a cast on and either one of them are working with a joint I prefer them to put it on themselves. I like the staff they do a good job but to save problems just let the doctor put the cast on. My cast is even worst, so now it is cutting me, I do not walk on it, like I said I only walk on it when I have to climb stairs. and well that is only 4 steps that are not steep. Over all I left crying because the doctor did not believe, I cannot lie, Am a very honest person, I would be in a boot but the doctor Stasko and I agree that am not ready, All I wanted was my cast fix not off and Dr.Alexander was rude about the whole situation. He can call my mom and ask her if I walked on it Monday and she will say I no I did not walk on it. But I feel like since Dr. Alexander did not believe me I should just walk on it and destroy it myself and take it off, that is how I feel. Am not going to walk on because I want the cast off on the 12th. I have anxiety so if my cast does not feel right yes am going to complain about. It is dry and not wet and sometimes my toes turn purple. If Doctor Alexander understand that I serve anxiety then he would understand why I get frustrated when I have a problem with my cast. I just stick with the Geneva office and Clifton spring, Am going to stay away from the Newark office. Matter of fact am looking for a different place to go to other then the finger lakes bone and Joint center. What's the point of having a Facebook page if your not going to answer a patient question. Dr. Alexander is rude and never smiles and I do not want to deal with him ever. I have that right to choose which doctor I want to see. I only want to see Dr.Brown or the Dr. Staskos'. Thank you. and some of the staff over at Newark are rude. " - ash
