Mercy Medical Center: "My friends father waited over 6 hours in the waiting room. He’s diabetic, has a fib and was febrile the entire time. Took a friend who is a nurse to contact a supervisor to get him seen. No food or water for 6 hours as a diabetic is unacceptable " - Elise

Mercy Medical Center: "I came with my brother who severely cut himself at work. We arrived at 8:30 PM. It is now nearly 3 AM. No one in the waiting room has been here longer. Several people who got here hours after us are being called in. We were told at 12:30 he was almost at the top of the list. I saw three names before him. At least 6 people have been called since then. Several people have gotten angry and left and they were here for a significantly shorter time. This is ridiculous." - JENNIFER

Mercy Medical Center: "On Saturday 24, 2025 I returned to the ER for acute pain due to Herniated Cervical Disk c6-c7 as instructed from the discharged papers given to me on Thursday 23,2012 when I was admitted for treatment.
I waited 2 hours and I noticed that patients that came after me were been attended. I ask a charge nurse the reason why and she stated that my issue was chronic. Does this nurse seem to subjectively accuse me of a person that comes to the ER to get a fix for pain?
I am allergic to all NSAID drugs to being with, I am 69 years of age, never have been addicted to drugs and I refused to see medical staff at Mercy Hospital treating me like that. They left me to go home without any treatment. I would like for the Administration of this Hospital to follow up on this. That is why your existing rating is so low, unless the Adm. tackel this issue your Hospital rating will continue to decline. I am preparing to get Media coverage on this issue.
