Margaret R Pardee Memorial Hospital: "Went in for rapid heart beats concerns. Received EKG immediately, blood work. I was told the blood work was a 2 part process whereby the blood was drawn over a 2 hrs period. Chest X-ray was within first hour of arrival as well. Entire wait time was 7 hours before I was seen by doctor. The doctor had all results from EKG, blood work, and X-ray on the first room consultation and was very attentive and provided quality time for my questions and concerns. Nurses were efficient and knowledgeable about my test results. Triage area in the Hospital was extremely busy with all 20 beds full and a waiting lobby packed. Yes, it was a long wait before the doctor consultation, but on the front end they put me in priority status and thoroughly assessed my medical needs. Glad I waited because I left knowing I had quality care from all." - J

Margaret R Pardee Memorial Hospital: "Been here since 7am with my son. It is now 2:22pm. Still have not received a diagnoses. He was able to get a blood draw, but then the computers went down. This is a common issue as I have a friend who is an ER nurse and she complains about it all the time. If you do need URGENT care, I advise that you avoid Pardee." - Mad

Margaret R Pardee Memorial Hospital: "I got to Pardee ER at 2:00 pm in the afternoon and there was a woman waiting since 9 am along with a few others who got there after she did. They took a urinalysis, told me to wait and then came back 4 hours later telling me they were ready for my urinalysis - I was shocked. I told them they had taken it 4 hours ago. There were people laying all over the seats, some half on the floor. One girl was throwing up so badly and a staff employee did try to comfort her, but she was also sitting there for hours. The afternoon people at the desk were very nice, but the 2nd shift, not nice at all. Several couples got disgusted and left and after almost 8 and a half hours I called my husband to tell him to come get me. I never got my urinalysis results, NEVER saw a doctor and had to pay $125 for a copay which I intend to discuss with billing since I was never seen by a physician after waiting that long. The woman who was across from me was sleeping on her daughter's shoulder when I left after almost 13 and a half hours waiting (she had a heart condition). You would think that was important enough to be seen immediately.
There were three people who needed to go into detox and were told that due to Covid the Detox ward was closed. They were told they would get prescriptions and there was no point in them staying any longer. I NEVER had a problem with Pardee ER, but unless I desperately have to I will not go back. I left there exhausted, angry and with no answers. My doctor and his PA were on vacation otherwise I would have gone there. My next visit will be to Urgent Care or to Advent."

Margaret R Pardee Memorial Hospital: "Been in “ER” for over 4 hours and have not yet seen a doctor. My Tylenol wore off and my fever spiked (that’s why I am here) and my wife had to leave and go to our home to get some meds. Also, they are not offering water or any attempts to comfort patients. We have watched a man repeatedly vomiting here in the waiting room, a woman with a broken finger was refused ice and waited for over 2 hours for even an X-ray, a lady was so sick she couldn’t hold her head up sat here for at least 3 hours with no comfort. This is an inhumane experience. Senior management here at Pardee should get out of their offices and spend 4 to 6 hours here in the ER(which is a bit of a joke) " - J
