Lehigh Valley Hospital: "I came into the ER on my own but just pain in severe tachycardia. After 6 hour wait my symptoms had resolved I had made an appointment to see my cardiologist the next day and I left. They say that the average waiting time is 3 hours. They were patients in here waiting over 7.
However in their defense a lot of it has to do with the pandemic and how short-handed they are."

Lehigh Valley Hospital: "Here in er with my wife in extreme pain probably gallbladder, 3x here in 5yrs similar symptoms, her mom ans sister had gallbladder removed, let's see if we even make it to a room within 3hrs that we've already been here sitting, waiting. Hopefully they can find cause of my wife's symptoms, she's in so much pain. Oh this darn wait, no one here is even remotely near the amount of pain she is in." - Michael

Lehigh Valley Hospital: "Arrived in the ER last night, severe pain to my lower abdomen, I checked in, waited they came and got me for blood test and EKG. While I understand the blood work, the EKG was unnecessary, it was my lower abdomen where the pain is. They sent me back to the waiting room, two hours later they called me for a chest X-ray????? I was asking why are you concerned about my chest when I am having pain in my lower abdomen? They didn't know, and the only reply was the nurse requested it! Finally, I didn't have the strength to argue with them so I let them take the chest X-ray and I was sent back to the waiting room. Another 2 hours past, I walked up to the registration desk and Asked them if they can tell me how long the wait, all three nurses went off on me telling me they are doing the best they can, I asked them if they can tell me if I should go somewhere else, they were like it's up to you. I tried explaining that I felt really sick and my side feels like it will explode, they were like we can't help you! I ended up calling a taxi and leaving as I was too sick to drive my car. I am sorry to say they need to teach their staff better customer service, better ways to deal with sick patients, and not to assume that you are faking and not sick enough to be seen. Oh did I mention, while there was a room full of sick people, the doctors and staff were celebrating a birthday and there were empty beds inside the ER. I am sorry Lehigh valley hospital but you are simply should be considered a joke. Btw, I am ver y sick, but I will never ever return or trust you to even stitch a cut. Ughs, besides doing unnecessary tests, your customer service fails! You are an epic fail!" - Dannielle
