Jamaica Hospital Medical Center Stories

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center: "***Jamaica Hospital is the worse… ever!!!***

Brought my husband to the hospital 7.11.22, he was in so much pain. After taking his info, he sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before his vitals was even taken. By the third hour, and still not being seen by anyone he left, because he couldn’t sit up any longer. He told them his level of pain was over 10, no one seemed to care.

It’s ridiculous that people have to sit there for hours, IN PAIN and can’t see a doctor for hours. They always have excuses, but it doesn’t seem like anyone is effectively doing what should be done for the process to flow efficiently and at a pace where patients can be seen quickly. I’m so disgusted by this hospital, and I’m surprised by them having such an absolutely bad hospital rating, that they haven’t done anything to improve their service. "

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center: "Have been waiting in the emergency room today 10/01/16 from 6:30 pm until now 9:22 pm in pain everyone who came in right after me has been seen the ones that are here came long after me. I asked nurse how long again she said you are going to a different area and there are two before you. It is really disgusting 3 hours without even being sent into the examination area, still in triage area. The nurse just don't care!!!!!!!! They do as they please make their own rules on how they want to do operate.
