Heritage Valley Beaver: "I have been to the ER two times since mid-July. The first was for a bad fall and cat scans were done on my skull. I waited 5 1/2 hours to see a doctor not knowing what was wrong. In addition I had a cut on my arm from the fall but did not realize it until the doctor noticed it. I finally saw the doctor and she asked if it was xrayed. No one noticed the cut and bruising... dp no xray and it is still bothering me some.

I was just there last week for pain in my left foot which was preventing me from walking. I was told I would have to wait 5 to 6 hours to know if the ordered xray showed any fractures or an answer as to why I could not put weight on my foot. I consider having to wait 5-8 hours to see a doctor in the emergency room just wrong...least they could do is have someone come out and give the results of testing. Very poor way to operate. This I would call Emergency services "

Heritage Valley Beaver: "I went to the ER on Monday evening about 7 PM because I was experiencing symptoms of Covid and I wanted to be tested I was very sick I was told there was 27 people in front of me no one put me in an isolation place I sat right out in front of everyone else with a mask on which you’d think they’d wanna put me in a room but they didn’t everything else was more important at that time I understand when you have emergencies those do come first however I don’t think that I should’ve been sitting out in the waiting room around other people waiting to see if I have Covid or not however the lady at the front desk told me to go to convenient care which close at 8 o’clock and I had 20 minutes to get there so I did once I got there the assistant upfront that was taking my information had a total attitude with me because it was 5 to 8 and they were closing she was huffing and puffing and totally made me feel like I was a piece of crap because I did not have insurance or $81 to pay for a Covid test the last I looked Covid tests are free so I wanted to speak to who was in charge which was a physicians assistant she come out and told me that that was their policy and then I could not pay them on Friday which was payday and I said that I was going to report them they did not care and the physicians assistant had a cocky smart ass attitude towards me as I walked out of the building and said byeeeeeee!!! They made me feel that I wasn’t worthy and then I was trash not to mention I did not feel good at all I just got off of unemployment and lost my insurance just started a job in three weeks feeling very ill I believe I had Covid therefore I went back to the ER sat and waited , I had severe pain my whole body was aching everything all I wanted was someone to come out and test me give me some ibuprofen and send me home so I can go to bed. Finally, that the RN at the time that tested me had no mask no gloves . I did test positive and they finally put me in a room left me there for about 45 minutes you think by then that they’d want to get me out of there because I tested positive for Covid and I’m still sitting there so I don’t know what you wanna do about this but totally unprofessional and the way I was treated at convenient care behind the beaver Valley Mall they discriminated against me because I did not have insurance and made me feel like I was nothing and just meanwhile I was just sick and needed to just be tested! Covid test are supposed to be free they are supposed to be free they did not have to treat me like I was a piece of crap they did this because they didn’t want bothered because it was time for them to go home and I get that however when you have convenient care the last I looked, this means emergency care I’d really appreciate a response thank you! I am going to report this to the Senator! Sincerely Leslie Winkle" - Leslie
