Harper University Hospital: "I waited August 2022 in emergency for 13 hours and never got called the staff was rude to everyone that came in especially if they asked how it would be when they would get called in the back for a doctor. People were vomiting and falling out. Most folks left after 5-7 hours. I went home called a doctor who called 911. I was rushed to Sinai grace they immediately took me and found out my gallbladder burst and had to emergency surgery. My next visit was April 2023 wait time was all day 8 hours even with doctor referral to be seen and admit. The front desk check in was very rude. I watched them change shifts 3 times. I was admitted the next 7am and by 7 pm discharged after" - Lauren

Harper University Hospital: "I was at the er with a friend recently. Dr ask personal question in from of other patients. No privacy. Also all the black patients were treated in the hallway. No rooms. Place dirty. White nursing staff ignored one black lady as if she didn't hear but was looking at her face when she asked the question. Will never go back this place has gone extremely down. My friend had to go to the er the next day and was treated with kindness and respect. He is much better now got the care he deserved and needed." - Cheryl
