Harford Memorial Hospital: "This hospital needs to be closed down for good cause the staff doesn't care about the patients. They are only there for the paycheck. The ER staff is the worst but I will say the staff upstairs does care a little. When they see your report and see what medication you take at home they think you are there just for meds but your not. I have been there a couple of times for pain in my back and my legs and they let you sit there for 10hrs before checking on you. I was crying in pain cause never had this before and they didn't care. I had numbness in my legs and into my feet. I called for help a couple times and got no help but when they took me upstairs and I told them how I was feeling and my pain passed a 10 they call the Dr on call and asked if I can have something stronger and something to relax me. They said sorry about what happened in the ER and took care of me without bitching. So that is why I said the ER NEEDS TO BE CLOSED. " - Mike

Harford Memorial Hospital: "After being transferred from another unit in the hospital (Severe depression) 1-6-2018 for a heart problem detected during a routine check of vital signs ,, I was given an Echocardiogram then wheeled back to my room for "evaluation". It was there I spent 4 days waiting for test results but on Wednesday 1-10-2018 at 4 am I developed a lower abdomen pain and was diagnosed as "Constipation" ,,followed up with a laxative ... the pain worsened and by 6 AM I was doubled over with pain // but in the meantime my male nurse was filling out basic information on another patient in my room .. when I overheard him asking the patient if he had a downstairs bathroom ,, I moaned out loud "Geezsus, I have an emergency" to which he Replied "Constipation is not an emergency" .. I finally feel on the floor before convincing someone I needed a Cat Scan ,, the results of which showed kidney stones // I suffered for almost 5 hours before being given pain medication (In addition to the laxative).
I then suffered all night from severe diarrhea brought on from the wrongly prescribed large dosages of laxative.
The next day found me recovering from the stone/diarrhea and I was able to get some peaceful rest ... that was until about 9pm when this awful pain developed in my penis ... it felt like the inside was ripped apart before the nurse gave me something for the pain. The medication ebbed for about an hour then began to return. I woke up around 3am with pain resembling the pain I had 2 days prior so I pressed the nurse call button .. I suspect but am not sure the initial diagnosis of Constipation was interpreted as being my problem so once again I had to endure pain progression and by 5am I was begging for help ... it was then the nurse told me that my doctor was unavailable until after 6am .. I was hurting,, boy was I hurting until a contraction doubled me over and I fell from my bed to the floor /// the nurses responded by ordering me back in bed ,, it was then my anger erupted. My language would have put a sailor to shame as I screamed for help while admonishing all who were around me ,, it was at this point someone administered pain medication and given another cat-scan (never did know the results but the pain was all I cared about) .. I was released last Sunday 1-14-2018"
