Georgetown University Hospital: "This wait time isn’t accurate. I’ve been here in the waiting room since noon. It’s now 4:56. To add insult to illness, this nurse comes out to update vital signs, takes my bp, gets a reading of 191/108 and says well it isn’t that bad. I mean it’s not stroke levels. I’m like wtf? Terrible bedside manner. " - Mike

Georgetown University Hospital: "My girlfriend and I had a 13 hour wait to see someone and were there for a total of 16 hours. Definitely would not recommend coming after 10 PM because they don’t have enough late night staff." - Michael

Georgetown University Hospital: "Sitting in the waiting room in tbe ER at Georgetown University Hospital, a MEDSTAR Hospital. We were sent here by Medstar Urgent Care. My husband fell 3 days ago and is still in pain. Urgent Care took xrays and it turns out he has 4 broken ribs, 3 of which are displaced. He has early Alzheimer's and is not a reliable reporter of his medical condition or medical history. I am his health directive representative. Nevertheless, the Charge Nurse will not let me be with him in tbe emergency room when the doctors see him. They will call me if "...they have questions". This is an unacceptable policy which needs to be changed. We will never use GTU HOSPITAL again.

Georgetown University Hospital: "The worst experience we had. Took my wife there to night after a two hour wait we were told there is another three hour wait. The bathrooms were filthy. The staff was totally impersonal. We left and came to Reston Hospital emergency room. That is where we are now. What a difference. This place is clean and modern. The wait time was 10 min. We just wasted our Saturday night at GU Hospital. You need to clean up your act. Ross" - Ross
