Clearview Regional Medical Center Stories

Clearview Regional Medical Center: "Recently visited Clearview it was a Saturday afternoon. Had a kidney stone. The pain is horrible. Advice from my doctor was to go to ER. They are awful. Would not listen to me. Told them what my doctor said. I was given extra strength tylenol. I refused it. Then was given a shot of something that I ended up having allergic reaction to then I was given benadryl and something else. Had blood test but I already knew what was wrong with me. Told them my doctor said to call them. They never did. I sat in my DR room with my mother. 2 hrs to by and nothing was done. Never got fluids. Never got anything for pain. Shift change and it got worse. New nurse came in my room and started to take out my IV and said i was being sent home since they couldn't find anything wrong with me.I couldn't believe it. The next nurse came in there with a sheet and she all that was wrong with me is i was constipated. Told me to take laxatives or use enema. I told her you got me confused with someone else. I was there for a kidney stone. She did nothing. She said well they have you down for constipation. Took out my other IV and left. Came back with a security guard telling him I refused to leave. We couldn't believe it. Left there in pain and upset. My Dr had me drive to hospital near Atlanta where I was immediately admitted. Stayed in the Atlanta hospital for 6 days. Was taken care of. Clearview has nurses and doctors that are a joke. The nurses gossip in the hall about other patients." - Jena

Clearview Regional Medical Center: "Clearview Regional medical hospital is Monroe,Ga is awful. The ER dept don't do anything for pain. Came in with a broken hand and all I was offered was naproxen. I told them I couldn't take it cause it irrated my stomach. It was a Saturday night and just needed help til i could see my dr. After 2 hours with no help. The nurse said i was being discharged and said to follow up with my dr. What is the point of having an ER if they don't want to help you. This place needs to be shut down. Nurses were mean. One named Elizabeth kinda heavy set older lady. She was the worst." - Marie
