Carroll Hospital Center: "Went to the er last night. The hospital was totally full so the er rooms were filled with patients waiting for a room upstairs. The hallway was set up for treatment. Also patients were receiving treatment in the waiting room outside the er. I was amazed at the way the staff kept track of everyone. I didn't feel like we had to wait for treatment they just did it in the hallway. They talked about draining something in my son's leg and I wondered if they would do that in the hallway too. Not a lot of privacy in the hallway you could hear everyone's conversations. When they finally decided to admit him to the hospital we were moved into an er treatment room to wait for a room to open up stairs. After 8 hours in that room, it was night, he moved upstairs to observation. My son is 20 so not a pediatric patient. The weekly average of adult bed capacity has been around 90%. Good job er staff for making the best of a difficult situation. " - Lockey
