Bronson Battle Creek Hospital: "I am an epileptic. Earlier this year, I was sick with shingles (at the age of 30 btw) and because of the shingles I was put on a penicillin medication and anti viral by my doctor. I was unaware I was allergic to penicillin and my throat closed up, I was taken by ambulance to Bronson Battle Creek. I was in an active seizure as I was wheeled in. They left me in a wheelchair, having a seizure in the waiting room. In front of my children and husband and all other patients. Children in the waiting room were scared not understanding my condition. My seizure ended up lasting almost five minutes, which is the danger zone of brain damage. My husband went up to alert the nurses a third time that I need help, so they came out and wheeled me to the triage room. I went into another seizure in the triage room. According to my husband and son. The nurse wheeled me up onto the scale and tryed to stick a thermometer in my mouth. Because of my seizure she couldn’t get it in because of my clenched teeth, so she pushed on my jaw (like you would to a dog) to open my mouth and shoved the thermometer in. My husband was taken out for being upset for my treatment. I could have choked on the cover. Or worse!! Basic medical knowledge tells you to never put something in someone’s mouth during a grand mal seizure! They then proceeded to wheel me out back in the waiting room. My husband then drove me to Kalamazoo. Where I was treated for my Anaphylactic shock and given IV medicine to control my seizures. I will never go there AGIAN " - Roxie

Bronson Battle Creek Hospital: "Hospitals are now "socialism ,"
You get chewed out for coming. This place is only for gun shot wound victims, and heart attack victims.
When I go there for legit reasons, I have extreme fear on their decisions . The fear is on their decisions as i reiterated above.
One star
