Ellis Hospital: "I came to the ER in hopes that my stomach pain would get diagnosed. Instead I got a oral cocktail that’s supposed to numb your esophagus and stomach and had a reaction. I was told a nurse would be in to give me Benadryl 2 hours later alive thank god the nurse hasn’t been back. I have been here since 6:30 pm it’s now 11:05 pm. I received an IV port I am severely dehydrated and was never given IV fluids. I’ve asked twice now to be discharged and no one has still come to my room. Not a happy patient. I will never come here again as I was told about what a great hospital it is. First time at this ER and last a waste of a 45 minute drive!!!" - T.

St Catherine Of Siena Hospital: "Great ER, Staff and Hospital\r\nI recently went to the ER at St Catherine's of Siena Hospital and immediately the whole experience and care was far better than a experience we had two weeks earlier at Huntington Hospital. This is will now be our first choice for any Hospital. My wife was admitted and the nurse Elise on the 4th Floor was so compassionate and the Dr. Edgecomb was not only compassionate and caring, but spent the time with us and was very knowledgeable. Hospitals are not a welcoming experience, but St Catherine's is a 5 Star Hospital." - Mary

Highland Hospital: "- I took my 84 year old Mom to Highland Hospital Emergency Room for severe abdominal pain, severe back pain (she could barely walk) and possibly a mix up with her medications which was causing what appeared to me to be anxiety and extreme drowsiness issues on Tuesday 2/13/2018 night at 11:00 PM. The check in process was quick, but she did not get seen by the Doctor until the following day at 7AM. The team on said they had over thirty patients, only one doctor on site. We were also told a critical case came in and that is what caused the delay. I would think that at the point when they are at full capacity of patients and have a critical case that the protocol should be calling in another physician to see the other patients. There were certainly enough other staff on hand that could of made that determination. We will not be going back and would not recommend going to the Highland's Emergency Department." - Joanne

: "It is 1/18/2018 I arrived to the Jamaica Emergency Room Department at 5:00pm I’m here with flu like symptoms as well as severe abdominal pain due to not being able to keep down any fluids or food without going to the restroom immediately after. I’m feeling dizzy and I already fell once today because my muscles are weak. So here we are it is 11:35pm and I still haven’t been admitted to the other side of the the er. I’m being very patient but however I feel like I’m about to pass out any moment which I expressed to the attendant here as well as the manager of the er on duty. I’m still waiting. This is ridiculous and the attendant is telling people if they don’t like it go somewhere else. The only reason I didn’t leave is because I have no energy. Terrible " - Neil

: "I went to the ER on Sept. 21 waited 4 hours in the waiting room then took another 2 hours to see a doctor and another 5 hours to get admitted to Faxton St. Luke's. Faxton St. Luke's hospital doesn't need a new hospital take the 300 M check and add on to the hospital upgrade the ER . Critical shortage of doctors and nurses. Poor healthcare." - Susan

Newark-Wayne Community Hospital: "Mrs. Jessica Zabkar Sullivan, PA has been reported for breaking my son's Hipaa and his basic rights as a patient. She also broke policy and procedure. She was Immediately reported via telephone to the , " Speak Up Hotline. " Through RGH. She is a Physician's Assistant at the Newark Wayne Community Hospital Emergency Department. \r\nShe did not treat my son, (whom was entrusted in HER Care) ethically or responsibly. She was blantantly and unapologetically stereotyping my son. I've also filed a Civil Claim. \r\nI hope that NYS will examine her further. No one deserves the, " Care " That this provider gives. Apparently, advocating for my adult son is not acceptable to this Physician's Assistant." - Jessica
