Bayfront Medical Center Inc: "This hospital is small and ER was great before Delta Covid. Last two times they left my Type 1 diabetic daughter sit for 8 hours vomiting and crying in pain. They know she needs to be admitted and no rooms so they take ALL the less ill people first to Triage. They could triage my daughter with IV and meds, but they don't care that she is in pain and dehydrated. Nurse told me covid patients are waiting for hours in ER with all other patients. Hope you have your Covid vaccine if you come to this ER!" - Denise

Bayfront Medical Center Inc: "Worst Hospital Experience ever. I have a really bad phobia to elevators and I actually almost got stuck in the main elevator the visitors use to visit the patients. The elevator started shaking really bad and was like stuck for a few minutes. The door finally opened to an area that is closed for construction on the third floor. There were no lights and pipes all over the place. The elevator stopped on the third floor and that particular elevator doesn't even stop on the third floor. I also had my niece with me who who was also really scared. To top it all off the the expiration date on the Florida Certificate of Operation expired in August of 2016. This is awful and I am totally traumatized. I went to the front desk to get help and there was no one there. So I went back to the elevator to make sure no one else got on it and had to experience what I just did. Well there was a man coming from the stairwell and stated the same exact thing just happened to him and then there was a very elder lady exit the elevator totally freaked out and stated something is wrong with the elevator. I see all the construction the hospital is undergoing and I think that the main focus should be on the area that is already being used and by the guest of the hospital. It was already stressful enough being there with a sick loved one and then to have to go through this. This is totally unacceptable for the Hospital and I and totally devastated by this ordeal.
