Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System Stories

Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System: "I was in severe pain and knew SOMETHING was REALLY wrong with me! We arrived at Bay County where I was handed a cup for a urine sample and told to sit in the waiting area. I was the loudest person in there writhing in pain. I was seen to take vitals where my bp was 80/60 and was put back in the waiting area. Then tried to lay flat to get a CT scan. I screamed in pain so loud that nurses came running from down the hall and was then put back into the waiting area. Almost lost consciousnesses twice and nothing was done. Something was deathly wrong with me. Thank goodness I had the foresight after 3 hours of waiting in intense pain to call another ER and see what the wait time was. (I'll post an excellent review on them as well) Bay County was by far the worst experience of my life! I've never been in that amount of pain before and no one was doing anything to help...however, the young lady coming off a heroin high was getting a lot of attention...and pain medication...true story. (In case your curious, I ended up having a ruptured ovarian cyst no one even knew about and had 2 liters of blood pooling up into every empty space of my body. The ER doc and surgeon said I was very lucky to change hospitals and they are certain even 1 hour more and I would have died!) " - Bay
