Infectious Disease at Arkansas Children's Hospital

: "Arrived at Washington regional emergency at 10:58. It's currently 4:18 pm with no hope of seeing a Dr so far. Absolutely ridiculous service, and if you say someth8ng to th ontake troll, they are automatically ready to set their attack cops on you, just as all of the signs say they will. Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock: "Wait time is extremely too long.. I’ve been called back at least 3 times all to still not check in a room or see a doctor.. mind you I already didn’t feel good and had passed out earlier at work so me walking around wasn’t the best idea.. ended up leaving because I just couldn’t stand all the people around me sick and me waiting it had already been 3 hours by then " - Darneshia

White County Medical Center: "I went for an ER visit this past weekend. I was having signs of a stroke and with me being a medical professional, I had waited long enough before going to the ER. I told the receptionist Felicia that I needed emergent help right away and she said to her buddy/ coworker, “EVERYBODY IN HERE IS EMERGENT.” And they both did this gut busting laugh that made me feel so low for seeking help. I witnessed them make fun of pretty much everybody that checked in, very disheartening because not only am I a practitioner but I’m also a medical business owner. Situations like this makes people ashamed to seek help or make them feel small or down. My feelings were very hurt by this matter. I went to work and was telling a coworker about it and she pushed me to report it but I have not yet. This is a very hard and challenging reality that innocent patients seeking help has to deal with. I know we are short staffed everywhere but know who your front line staff is. A lot of patients just walked out." - Anonymous
