Anmed Health: "I was carjacked at the front door of the Emergency Room, car stolen, ID stolen, and my car wrecked. The security guard was not at the emergency room door at the time. I was assisting my 85 year old neighbor, having received very poor care in the almost 5 hours she waited to be seen for chest pain . I was trying to assist her back into my car when a man, who security said later to police had been loitering there all day, jumped into the car and sped off. There is a total failing of security there. The carjacker was known to the security there, yet the door was left unmanned. My life is upside down now. I would never advise anyone use this ER. They have not reached out to me. It’s unsafe to be there and the care is awful! " - Joyce

Anmed Health: "My wife was taken by ambulance to Anmed Health ER at 9:38pm with actue pain from her surgery at a different hospital the day before. We waited in the ambulance for close to 20 minutes on the loading dock before they finally had a room available for us.Once we were in the room we waited until 12:34am for additional pain medicine. The hospital physician was professional but curt. It was evident that the hospital was severely understaffed and the nursing staff that was there were not focused on patient care. Several times I could overhear the nurses speaking of incentives being cut back and how multiple people were leaving. I was appalled to hear their lack of care for my wife in pain. As we were being discharged maintenance personally were shutting down the lights in the section we were in and even cleaning the room where my wife was still in pain. I asked them what our options were since her pain was still high when we were forced to leave I was told I had none and that I should take her home and use what we had been prescribed by her physician. We left the hospital at 5am in an ambulance I had to practically beg for.
    Please
    Please
    Please
Do not go to this hospital unless you absolutely have no other options. "

Anmed Health: "In our many experiences at the Anderson, SC Anmed ER, the wait times are way longer than indicated. Sometimes 6 or 7 hrs before you finally get some help. Unfortunate if you have something serious going on. After you finally see a PA, you must be your own advocate and "insist" on seeing someone else if you think their assessment and exam or treatment was not sufficient. " - LTC

Anmed Health: "My friend got to the hospital at 3 am and was not helped at all. She stayed there until 11 am the next morning waiting on her papers. She was raped and made to feel like it was her fault and the doctors showed no compassion. We are absolutely appalled at this hospitals ER service. When we asked for her medicine and for the papers to leave, they blew us off like we didn't matter. The nurses took their time to help us like they had nothing better to do. DO NOT go to this hospital if you have anything to do for the next DAY or want a docotor that actually cares for you. " - Anonymous

Anmed Health: "This hospital WILL KILL YOU! My Mother waited 13 hours to see a Doctor in the ER at the age of 89. When she was admitted she went to the 6th floor. Her "doctor" immediately put this woman, who had NEVER had mental health issues, on a PSYCHOTROPIC drug called Risperidone. This drug put her in a stupor. While there she was allowed to lie in urine soaked bed linens. Now she has a bedsore which she had never had. Finally, her Social worker knew little about her. Bottom line is that AnMed hospital WILL KILL YOU. Take your Loved ones to Greenville or Spartanburg, anywhere but AnMed." - Michael

Anmed Health: "I was sent to anmed ER from urgent Care.they wanted me to go in an ambilance but I went by car. I was in number 10 pain from possible kidney stone. I was msde to walk the entire way waited over hour then doctor came in for 2 minutes and decided with no exam I had sprain. Never touched me. I asked about kidney stone and they ran urine test. I wait another hour and a nurse brings me prescripton for ibuprofen..and mild muscle relaxer..what a nightmare. Then I was never told anything about diagnosis..now I'm sitting here in agony and nothing has been done all day. I will never go there again. No compassion or even a remote interest in your pain." - CF
