: "OSU ER : 16 hours and still waiting for a psychiatrist to check us out. Patient distress is long past and a responsible adult there to verify but we can’t leave because there is one Psych doc for the entire hospital. Given the number of people who experience mental disorders this is absurd. Absolutely the worst experience for us and it never changes. OSU clearly does not care about the experience psychiatric patients have to endure when they enter their doors." - Columbus

: "Sent to Hospital by our primary physician, went to St Thomas and after just seeing a couple of nurses only we waited over 3 hours and still not seen a doctor. 80 years old COPD, CHF. and here for pneumonia and difficulty breathing. Staff condescending and unhelpful. Seat in waiting room and freeze and told too bad go somewhere else and wait more so sit and shut up or go suffer." - Gregory

: "Came to the er around 11 to be seen for post accident injuries. Waited 30 min and got a chest x ray and knee x ray. I was waiting well over 4 hours to be sent back to a room just for the doctor to tell me the results of my x rays. It's pathetic! The waiting room is gross. Trash and used tissues everywhere. Nurses and other staff jusjust sitting around at the front desk top yapping. I'll never come to this er again!" - April

: "Hospitals have different departments within the ER. and many have an urgent care built in with acute care. So when you see patients go back before you they are probably going to the urgent care part, which only see's minor stuff. The acute part of the ER is most likely full. Don't forget the ambulances that are rolling in the back door that the waiting room can't see. All patients are assessed and protocols are started. The ER staff doesn't want patient's to wait, do you think they really like getting yelled at complained about and name called. There are multiple factors that go into wait times, from lots of people, holds in the er because the hospital is at its capacity, a delay with x-ray or lab, ambulances... And that's just afew. " - D

: "I came into the Huntsville Hospital ER at 10pm on Jan.22 2018 with chest pains it is now 7:00am the next morning and I'm still waiting to see a Dr. And the nurse tells me it could be a good while yet because there are two other people that have been waiting longer than me in the waiting room. Avoid this place at all costs. If you search their wait times it say averge wait 3 to 4 hrs, totally misrepresented!!!" - Christopher

: "Stop complaining it's the ER not a walk in clinic. Just because you don't see REAL EMERGENCIES going on doesn't mean it's not happening there are admitted patient's in the hospital that have EMERGENCIES. If you ain't dying you can wait." - CHRIS

: "It is 1/18/2018 I arrived to the Jamaica Emergency Room Department at 5:00pm I’m here with flu like symptoms as well as severe abdominal pain due to not being able to keep down any fluids or food without going to the restroom immediately after. I’m feeling dizzy and I already fell once today because my muscles are weak. So here we are it is 11:35pm and I still haven’t been admitted to the other side of the the er. I’m being very patient but however I feel like I’m about to pass out any moment which I expressed to the attendant here as well as the manager of the er on duty. I’m still waiting. This is ridiculous and the attendant is telling people if they don’t like it go somewhere else. The only reason I didn’t leave is because I have no energy. Terrible " - Neil
