: "The comment about Obamacare causing long waits in Emerengency Departments is BS. I have had to seek treatments for migraines for 20 years and can attest the wait times are no worse since that legislation. In fact there has been a bit of a shortening of total ED service time as most hospitals have made strides in faster service times. There is competition in the larger urban areas for the ED business. O'bama bashers throw untruths in many non-related areas.Check the facts before you believe what you read." - ARM

: "Slipped in a creek and landed sideways on my body. My extended arm stopped me from hitting the rocks with head. Started feeling weird in my head and noticed I was in a dream state. Went to Fresno community 4 days later because I was not getting better. Worst treatment and care from staff and medical professionals. Very rude and short treated me like I only wanted drugs. My body was not my problem it was my head and the weird sensations I felt. Told to sit in seat with dry blood then given a muscle relaxer but it was my brain that did not feel right. 4 or 5 hours later I get seen by two medical staff that said you may have a concussion but we see no need for a CT scan. My legs went up 3 or 4 feet off the ground lucky I landed on my shoulder with my head but I came down hard and fast. No one would listen and I was feeling aggravated and my head still felt funny. They said if I did not black out or vomited it was not serious. Got discharged but just walked out feeling angry and light headed. Went to work 2 days later and noticed numbers moving on the papers so I called my primary care provider and set up a CT scan. If I have any sort of damage I want to sue the crap out of that Fresno Community. They took me for a drugged out Mexican when I went to them to support Downtown Fresno. I have always had private insurance but like they say don't judge a book by it's cover. I pray I don't have any sort of short or long term damage. I feel like my life has changed and they will learn not to treat people so cruel. I understand our city has a drug problem but I work to help stop it." - J.

: "You know these long wait times and over worked doctors and nurses are because of Obama care right?! Does anyone remember before Obama care... No long waits and over crowded hospitals and the doctors and nurses seemed to care more. Even doctor offices can't schedule you to be seen until 3 months out its crazy! But y'all love Obama so much snd you want health care and don't want to work a job with benefits now we have these horror stories " - Heather

: "Recently went to Sentara at Potomac Mills (not the stand alone on Minnieville, although I have had good experiences there, too). Moderate to acute medical need. Had I waited another 24 hours, likely would have been an admission, possibly, ICU. Zero wait, within 4 hours I had been seen by one doctor, with a 2nd consult, had an ultrasound, labs, 4 courses of IV treatment and discharged (with a shift change). Everyone from check in to nursing, radiology, and docs were top notch. I live in Occoquan and had debated going to Inova on Gallows (which had a 3 hour wait, as found while surfing on downtime in ER). \r\n\r\nSorry, Sentara blows Inova away, in service and cleanliness (@ least in appearance). I'm glad I went to Sentara." - Sylvia

: "Central Dupage ER is the worst hospital I visited. The waiting time was 5 hours in which I left after 3 hours. The triage nurse provided me an estimate it would take 3 to 5 hours to be seen. The service there horrible." - E.VASTRO

: "Clovis Community Hospital. Came in to the E.R. on July 6,2016 at approximately 12:25pm due to my 82 yr old Grandma was have chest pains and shortness of breathe at that time about 8 people were in the E.R. She was seen by a triage nurse and asked to wait back in E.R waiting lounge around 12:50pm. To make a long story short we sat in the E.R. For almost 8hrs before she was sent in to the E.R. For 8 hrs they kept telling us my Grandma was next even though the E.R. Waiting lounge Was filled and emptied on severel occasions yet they continued to tell us my Grandmother was next...lie after lie after lie. I finally got upset and asked the RN at the start desk named Prisela if I could speak with a E.R. Supervisor/Head RN and she responded with somewhat of an attitude by saying once we were given a room I could ask for one. I again asked her to please contact a Supervisor and she again said that until we were given a room. At that moment I asked if what she was saying is she was dening me access to speak with a supervisor and she responded by saying I'm just telling you that you can speak with a supervisor once you get a room. I would not recommend you take your loved ones to Clovis Community unless you want them dying in the E.R. waiting lounge. It took almost 9 1/2 hrs to finally get some answers on her triage results and tell us it wasn't heart problems. And to speak w/ a supervisor it to a little over an hour once we got our room and even then they passed the buck on the complaint. Horrible service even for E.R. waiting standards ...... Stay away from Clovis Community Hospital ..... Such a shame for the nice city of Clovis to have a horrible Hospital." - M.

: "I was waiting at the York Wellspan Hospital for a little over3 hours. My husband was violently throwing up the whole day. And we decided to take him there. He was almost becoming unconscious do to the lack of fluids that would stay in him. That place is a joke they did nothing while we were there, other than giving him a blanket. We eventually went home cause it was 2 in the mornin and no one's names were being called. We just ended up searchin some information on how to handle his illness and he was just fine. He slept thru the whole night without throwing up. \r\nThis "new" and "improved" hospital is ridiculous. " - Mrs.
